“Vulnerability is not winning or losing. It’s having the courage to show up when you can’t control the outcome.”-Brené Brown

Hi, I’m Chelsea (she/her)! Here’s a little about who I am as a therapist…

I aim to provide a space for my clients to experience unconditional acceptance and support so they can safely explore and heal.  You are not meant to walk through life alone, and I’m here to sit with you in the healing process. My approach to therapy is collaborative, and holistic, working together to meet your needs and healing the whole person. I am trained in Phases 1 and 2 of Brainspottinng, a method of therapy which enables you to access, process, and release trauma “stored” in the body. You can learn more about this therapy approach in the FAQ section.

I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally inclusive, and body neutral therapist, and work primarily with teens and young adults/adults (ages 13+). I have special interests in supporting those experiencing burnout (especially those in a helping profession), healing from relationship trauma, and difficulties with self-esteem/body image.

My hope is to help my clients cultivate empowerment, attunement and trust with yourself, and lasting changes in your life; or to hold that hope for you when you’re not able to. I have been so privileged to hear the stories and witness deep transformations in the adults and teens I have worked with, and I look forward to the honor of providing that support to you as well.

My background includes an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University, and a B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Music from Vanguard University of Southern California. I am currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #130686.

Some info about me being a real person, with photos for receipts…

The beach and the mountains are my happy place.

My pets and my people are the light of my life, I would not be who I am today without them.

I love traveling and experiencing new things, especially those food and animal related.
